NEW YORK, NY - September 9, 2026 - The organizers of the 14th Annual Dr. Stewart O. Williams Gala, held on September 5, 2026, in New York, extend heartfelt appreciation to everyone who attended and contributed to making this year’s celebration a profound success.
The evening was a memorable gathering of family, friends, community leaders, dignitaries, supporters, and distinguished guests who came together to honor the enduring legacy of Dr. Stewart O. Williams and to celebrate the values of service, generosity, leadership, and giving back to the community.
Among the distinguished guests in attendance were Her Excellency Ambassador Jacinth Henry-Martin, Ambassador of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United States, and Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Mutryce Williams, Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations.
Also in attendance was Mr. Lewellyn Caines, owner of Sunshine Bar in Nevis, the home of the famous Killer Bee beverage and Mr. Omari Banks, guest artist. Their presence added to the strong representation of Saint Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla, and the spirit of community that characterized the evening.
The presence of these distinguished guests added a special dimension to an evening centered on service, community, leadership, and the importance of giving back.
This year’s theme, “Rooted in Service, Grounded in Giving Back,” was brought powerfully to life throughout the evening and underscored the importance of continuing Dr. Williams’ legacy through meaningful service to others.

A special note of gratitude is extended to Dr. Maurice Duggins, Chief Medical Officer of a hospital in Kansas, whose remarks resonated deeply with the evening’s theme.
